Bin Huang is the winner of the ARD competition in Munich and was awarded first prize and the gold medal at the international Paganini competition in Genoa. Numerous other prizes such as the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, the Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels, the Marguerite-Long / Jacques Thibaud Competition and the first prize at the Henry Wieniawski Competition in Poland, which Maxim Wengerov won together with her, are further milestones in her international career, which she has pursued as a soloist with orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the French National Symphony Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Kennedy Center in New York, the Palais Des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Opera City in Tokyo, the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, and the National Grand Theater in Beijing, to name but a few. Bin Huang is Head of the Department of Orchestral Instruments and Professor of Violin at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing and plays on a G. B. Guadagnini violin from 1776 from the Peter Eckes Cultural Fund.
Bin Huang is also in demand worldwide as a chamber musician, performing regularly with the Beaux Arts Trio, the Juilliard Quartet, the Guarneri String Quartet and other artists, and devoting herself to the next generation of musicians in master classes worldwide. She is a jury member in numerous competitions, including the International Paganini Competition in Genoa and the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow.
Course description
The course is aimed at both students and professional violinists, as well as prospective, interested violinists with previous knowledge.
